Choral awards and scholarships
Choral awards and scholarships are funded by TEMPO through its fundraising activities throughout the year. Applicants must have participated in Conestoga’s choral program.
Instrumental awards and scholarships
These are funded by the Anton F Kiehner Fund and applicants must have participated in a curricular activity such as the orchestra, concert band, any of the instrumental ensembles or marching band.
Dr. Anton F. Kiehner was a longtime music director at Conestoga who was beloved by students and parents alike. When he retired from teaching, many families came together to create this fund. Through good stewardship over the decades, the fund continues to bestow awards and scholarships to graduating seniors continuing their instrumental endeavors past high school. Dr. Kiehner's impact cannot be overstated. When he passed away in the winter of 2026 his family asked that those inclined to send flowers instead make a contribution to the Anton F Kiehner Fund. The outpouring was beautiful. Former students sent letters expressing gratitude for Dr. Kiehner's devotion to both music and his students.

Also, recipients’ families must be TEMPO members and have paid their membership dues.
